Current Central Plant Library

712 indexed plant records are currently in the central Earthman plant database. This replaces the earlier 168-record working count in the previous book draft. The final publication count will be locked after deduplication and verification.

The collections are organized across Jamaica & Caribbean, Ghana, Sierra Leone, Nigeria, wider West Africa, Africa/African-Diaspora cross-references, and natural food plants.

Illustrated Plant Directory

Every botanical record now connects to a practical visual reference: a plant photograph from a reusable/licensed image source where available, a botanical-sketch search, and a Google image/research link. Image licensing and attribution remain visible so readers can distinguish reference imagery from Earthman-owned material.

Mary Seacole

The revised material includes the Mary Seacole heritage section, memorial/bust history, London memorial story, Jamaican heritage and historical service narrative.

Safety framework

Traditional-use material is presented as historical, cultural or community reporting and is not automatically evidence of medical effectiveness. Safety, evidence and regulatory status are kept distinct.
